In order to improve and strengthen tuberculosis (TB) prevention, diagnosis, and treatment, countries need to focus on improving national health systems. Specific attention must be paid to strengthening key service delivery platforms for TB service delivery. Drug policy and management, monitoring and evaluation systems, and human resource development also play a critical role.
