Definitions

The number needed to test is the number of individuals that must undergo a diagnostic evaluation to identify one person with TB during the reporting period.

Numerator

Number of presumptive TB cases tested for TB during the reporting period (AF-5)

Denominator

Number of presumptive TB cases with confirmed TB during the reporting period (AF-6)
