REACH

This chart shows aggregate TB case notifications in USAID priority countries from the initiation of the USAID TB program in 2000 through 2022, and the United Nations High Level Meeting (UN HLM) notification targets for 2018 to 2022.

This chart demonstrates trends in TB treatment coverage for all forms of TB in USAID countries between 2013 and 2022.

This chart illustrates the number of drug-resistant (DR) TB cases in USAID priority countries, including rifampicin-resistant (RR), multidrug-resistant (MDR), and extensively drug-resistant (XDR) cases, notified between 2011 and 2022. It also includes UNHLM targets for 2018-2022.

The chart above shows the percent of new and relapse TB cases in USAID priority countries whose HIV status was documented. TB/HIV co-infection rates vary dramatically by region, as demonstrated in the pie chart below, showing the relative distribution of TB/HIV co-infected among notified TB cases in USAID priority countries.

CURE

This chart indicates the annual number (cohort) of TB patients registered between 2012-2021 who successfully completed treatment in USAID priority countries, documents by bacteriologic methods or completion of therapy.

This chart illustrates the percent of new and relapse cases (2019 cohort) that were successfully treated in each of USAID’s priority countries.

This chart presents the trend in the number (cohort) of multidrug-resistant (MDR) and extensively drug-resistant (XDR) TB cases registered between 2007 and 2020 in USAID priority countries who have successfully completed treatment.

This chart indicates the percent of multidrug-resistant (MDR) and extensively drug-resistant (XDR) TB cases registered in 2020 in USAID priority countries who have successfully completed treatment.

PREVENT

This chart shows the number of people living with HIV (PLHIV) in USAID priority countries who were initiated on TB preventive treatment (TPT) between 2002 and 2022, and the United Nations High Level Meeting (UN HLM) PLHIV TPT targets for 2018 to 2022.

The indicator definition has changed starting in 2020. For more details, please see the WHO website.

This chart shows the percent of children under 5 who were household contacts of bacteriologically-confirmed TB cases and initiated on TB preventive treatment (TPT) in each of USAID's priority countries in 2021.

*Tajikistan and Ukraine have percentages beyond 100% because the number of children initiating TPT is greater than the estimated number of eligible children.
